Callaway golf clubs three part clubhead construction
A lighter forged crown plate and repositioned Callaway Weight Chip on the callaway
golf clubs optimise the clubhead's center of gravity.
Callaway Golf's variable face thickness technology allows Callaway to make the golf clubs clubface thinner and much more durable by engineering precise thicknesses at special points across the interior of the club face. Variable thickness club faces are created to increase the efficiency of the clubs clubhead at impact, this will help to increase the maximum ball speed. Moving the weight away from the club face allows more forgiveness.
Hawk Eye irons.
These irons from Callaway have got two cavities. The first cavity is
a multi layer cavity very similar to the X-12 irons, incorporating the callaway
360 degree varied undercut chanel. The second cavity runs the length of the
clubheads sole and runs behind the impact area. Within this cavity is the callaway
tungsten weight matrix. This weighting system creates a much lower center of
gravity, helping shots climb into the air more easily and giving the player
increased distance control. The longer the iron, the lower the center of gravity,
making it much easier to get the ball up the air. The shorter irons have got
a slightly higher center of gravity, giving the player more control and backspin.
